It's just a file explorer with many options. The standard CE explorer is too light !!! Misssing options:
- not optimized (like standard CE explorer : speed loading)
- no favorites yet
- no find files yet
- bad icon on : dll, default exe, default file Granted options:
- cut/copy and paste on highlighted text and files
- many windows for many explorating
- multi selection on : properties, delete, create shortcut, copy/paste
- choice beetween differents view and sorts icon-files (small icons, large icons, by name, by date, by type, by size)
- menu and popup menu
- resizing for the virtual keyboard
- execute : exe file, exe in shortcut, files associated and files associated in shortcut
- parent dir option, create directory
- save current settings on close Tested on IPAQ 3760. (Pocket PC 2002) Installation notes:
Just copy files in any place of your PocketPC (e.g : \\My Documents\\) and lauch the executable file.

MExplore is a Pocket-PC Directory Explorer and Backup program.

Small program that acts as a File Explorer, and optionally as a backup up utility.

The program was made in Visual Basic but the backup portion of it, uses an external DLL. When pressing Gzip it takes the selected files in the source directory and compresses them in a single gzip file in the destination directory. Note that it doesn't recurse. Only files are processed, not sub-directories. Also note that the .gz file contests are not compatible with other utilites. Selecting a .gz file in the source directory and pressing UnGzip will extract it's contents to the destination directory. If you click on the Source Dir or Destination Dir buttons you get a listing of contents.
